The Wellington AFL D-League is open to anyone of any skill level, and is designed to help players develop their AFL skills in preparation for the Wellington AFL Season.

We’ve been a bit slack in our preparations for the 2018 season, but we’re putting an end to that now! We will be joining up with the all-WAFL trainings which will kick off at the beginning of September.

In the meantime, if you are looking for some fitness, several WAFL players are running around with the Wellington GAA Football team at their trainings. They train at 10am on Sundays at Ian Galloway Park, so come on down for 9:30 to kick the Sherrin for 30 minutes or so, and then we’ll join in with the GAA boys to get a bit of fitness under our belts! They play a game at the end of training, so it’s a great way to get some match fitness in!
